A couple of weeks ago we heard from Luxembourg’s CSSF that @Ripple had received preliminary approval for its EU Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license.

I can now share that we have fulfilled the conditions set by the CSSF, resulting in Ripple being granted its full EU EMI license - a transformative milestone that allows us to scale our mission of providing robust, compliant blockchain infrastructure to clients across the EU.

4/ Crypto M&A reflects market maturity, with $8.6B in deal volume in 2025 driven largely by institutions and custody emerging as the next major consolidation driver. As custody commoditizes, spurring vertical integration and multi-custodian strategies, ~50% of the world’s top 50 banks will formalize new custody relationships in 2026.
