There’s an interview I saw of an old man who was asked “what is love?” He said at 90 years old his wife was laying on her death bed, frail, weak, her body slowly giving up, wrinkled and diseased from what was killing her. He looked at her and before she gave her last breath, he looked at that body and fell in love with her one last time. He said “if you cannot love her when she’s at her worst, you never loved her to begin with”
