Yesterday I listened to a podcast from a paediatric oncologist who specialised in brain tumours. He said drug trials for children with aggressive brain tumours are way more valuable than trials for adults. Scientists learn so much more. Every day I learn more about cancer 🎗

For a sibling 2loose their brother/sister & become ‘the only child’ it’s an incredibly lonely path witnessed 1st hand by C’s brother who had company with his sister for 19 years & then nothing. He often talks about lost time with his sister

Adult & Kid’s cancers are not the same. #Chemo kills the fastest growing cells (cancer, hair, saliva, digestive cells) in an Adult's body. The same happens in Children, except ALL of their cells are fast growing! The result is the chemo causes long term #Health problems.
