Musician, Filmmaker, Teacher, Disabled American. Opinions belong to the voices in my head. Done with electoral politics. Struggling with the character lim
@mehdirhasan@prem_thakker I used to love reading @prem_thakker's work, but as a disabled person living mostly on social security, the paywall at Zeteo means I rarely get to do that anymore. A real shame.
@ryangrim Strange, how practicing actual journalism mean acknowledging all the facts, regardless of your own political views and desires. People are apparently so starved of such reporting that they can't process it. They equate facts opposing a bias with factual contradiction.
@MattWalshBlog You've turned saying stunningly stupid things in a manner that makes people think you're intelligent into an art form. You're particularly good at boiling complex issues down to hyperbolic statements that drive engagement. Quite the grift you've got going on...
@VP A decent human being would feel deep shame that it took a real estate bro sent by Trump of all people to force Israel to accept something Hamas agreed to months ago, but clearly you're a sociopath. Thousands dead because you & Biden refused to use leverage to end a genocide.
@SenTomCotton I remember when we were all scared of you for being like Trump but smart, so it's a relief to discover that you're also a complete moron.
@ryangrim So many seem to misunderstand 1: Who doesn't pay enough in taxes (corporations & wealthy individuals), 2: Who receives most of the tax cuts (see above), and 3: Where too much $ goes (military and other things that ultimately line the pockets of - checks notes - see above again).
@digimush82 @LeeCamp They've had no rain, high temperatures, and high winds. Poles carrying electrical wires are knocked down, creating sparks, igniting the bone dry brush. It's not rocket science. A lack of investment in infrastructure is a factor, obviously, but you're being deliberately ignorant.
@SenFettermanPA Spoken like someone paid to ensure it's legal for the rich/powerful to kill the rest of us w/ impunity - the underinsured - Palestinians - I oppose the death penalty, but it's absurd to suggest insurance companies responsible for so much death & suffering deserve no blame.
@ryangrim They should also lose their benefits any time they don't show up for a vote or take one of their unreasonably long recesses. They should be required to prove they spent a minimum of 40 hours every week directly addressing the needs of constituents.
@halalflow@CollinRugg I used to answer phones for United Health, and more than half of the people I spoke with said thing as bad or worse than her. 99% of the time, they were completely justified. The "elites" are clearly worried the class war may no longer remain totally one-sided.
@awintory Unimpeachable choice. That trilogy reigned supreme for me until 2020. Then, another game came along and brutally stealthed its way to the top position, absolutely wrecking me in the process.
@RoKhanna Yes, but create an independent organization tasked with reviewing appeals submitted by insurance companies for claims they believe are fraudulent. There are sadly too many medical professionals engaging in fraud/waste, but the burden of proof needs to be placed on insurance.
