@audible_com@1Audibel I'm in a real pickle. My Audible account's email address no longer exists (from my previous job) and I've changed cellphone number. So I can't login, and I've called your support lines who can't seem to help. I'm getting monthly debit orders. Please help π
What's the best in person feedback framework/tool that you've come across? Radical Candor and Situation-Behaviour-Impact (SBI) seem to be quite popular, any others that you've had good results with?
Is the BCorp Certification greewashing? Keen to hear perspectives from anyone who has investigated BCorp. Is it the next best step or is it just dressing up business as usual in new clothes? #Bcorp#transparency
Hey @Yola. I'd really appreciate someone from support getting in touch? I can't change my DNS settings, all I get in response is "Uh-oh. Something has gone wrong. We're going to close advanced settings quickly. Please give us a moment and then try again. Thanks." DM me please
What really is a Moral Economy? The one Cyril Ramaphosa is referring to anyways. I've seen different definitions floating about but nothing particuarly concrete. Is the premise removing incentives that "crowd out" 'moral' behaviour? @ludwig_raal@wingnuts123@DavidPerrott_
Kudos @irshad0karim for the work you and your team are doing on Drawabox. It's got to be one of the best designed, community lead learning programmes out there.
@ScottHYoung Thanks Scott, it's a bit of an odd question I know. I'm hoping there's a magic wand out there!πͺ I'll let you know if I come across anything.
When deconstructing/chunking a new skill to learn, how exactly do you choose the minimal learnable units?@ScottHYoung - I imagine you've given this A LOT of thought. Any suggestions? Interviewing, reduction and reversal seem to be common options.
@ScottHYoung Hey Scott, sorry for the jargon. Yes, you're right. I had the wrong understanding of chunking. After one has deconstructed a skill into parts - how do you choose the 20% of parts that will give you 80% progress? Ie. Questions to eliminate/prioritise parts for learning drawing.
Let us all take a good hard look at ourselves,
Now that our vision is so unclear.
Let us all remove the veils of busyness,
Now that our packed calendars are not so dear.
Let us all prioritise our neglected aspirations,
Now that we have the time to simply be here.
It's safe to say we're all going to have a new appreciation for what it means to be Self-Reliant. We will all come out of this trusting the authorities to look after us less and practicing ways to try never lose this amount of power over our destinies again...
Could it be true? "...the Standing Committee of the National Peopleβs Congress, Chinaβs top lawmaking body, passed a resolution on Monday banning the trade and consumption of wild animals." > https://t.co/Vr7ouGiQct
Hope one of the changes that will stick post #COVID2019 is the transition to plant-based products - product testing, bio-medical proteins, meat alternatives, etc. When you disrespect nature, stress it and hurt it - it bites back! (SARS, Swine Flu, Avian Flu, COVID19, etc...)
@NotreDameFan27@iam_preethi@josh_hammer Channeling you inner Thanos I see... What would you recon the message from world leaders would be if they decided to remove quaratine and get back to business? "Walk peacefully into the abyss, accept these impending deaths as a necessary and lesser evil?"
Why not use your new found spare time to learn how to create a future that doesn't suck as much as the present? Great timing @tseelig and @lisakaysolomon - very keen for this.
