Ever wonder what protects us from the chaos of deep space?🌌

Our solar system is wrapped in a giant magnetic bubble called the heliosphere, formed by the constant flow of charged particles from the Sun known as the solar wind.

NASA’s Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP), preparing for launch in late September, will study the heliosphere to uncover how our solar system is shielded from cosmic radiation and interstellar particles.
