When John Bunyan read 1 John 4:17, he wrote that God was effectively saying:
“Sinner, thou thinkest that because of thy sins I cannot save the soul, but behold my Son is by me, and upon him I look, and not on thee, and will deal with thee according as I am pleased with him.”
Christian, though you may feel unworthy to be called a son today because of your sin, you can still humbly and boldly call God your Father, knowing that that will never change.

Day #3 of Shepherds Conference.
“You can know all the right answers about the gospel and God, but that doesn’t mean you’re walking in communion with Him, loving Him, serving Him. Intellect doesn’t qualify you as a man of God.” @paulwasher#ShepCon2026#ShepCon26

Preach and pray. We can preach to reach people’s ears, but only God can reach their hearts. So preach to your people so that they hear, but pray for them so that they might have changed hearts.” @hbcharlesjr
“I’ve never known a Christian in my lifetime who hasn’t benefitted greatly from consistently reading the Puritans on a regular basis”.
I’m glad to be referenced there.

Shepherds Conference 2026 begins this morning. Last week, the staff of The Master’s Seminary and Grace Church met to pray for the 4,000 men coming to our campus from all over the world. Please join us in praying that the encouragement these men receive this week would fuel their ministries for gospel impact. #ShepCon2026
Thanks to both @aigkenham and @EmealZwayne for tonight’s #gospelreset event in Sydney. I’m really thankful for how God has kept your hearts zealous and faithful to Him. Will be praying for Him to keep doing that.
