BREAKING: Donald Trumpâs legal team has asked E. Jean Carroll to agree to delay the disbursement of the $5 million judgment awarded to her.
According to Carrollâs attorney, Roberta Kaplan, the request was denied.
âCarroll does not consent,â Kaplan told Trumpâs lawyers, adding that Carroll wants the funds she was awarded âimmediatelyâ after waiting years for the case to conclude.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court has upheld the constitutional definition of birthright citizenship â meaning all children born in the United States are U.S. citizens.
Karl: Republicans are going to make you the poster child for the Democratic Party.
Mamdani: Let them. We donât have to ask ourselves what life looks like if a socialist wins. I won last November, and over the course of these last six months, what weâve delivered for working people are the very things we were told were impossible.
Weâve delivered free child care for two-year-olds for the first time in New York City history. Weâve delivered tens of millions of dollars back to tenants who were taken advantage of by bad landlords. Weâve delivered 165,000 potholes being paved. And weâve done all of these things while also delivering the lowest recorded crime in our cityâs history.
Thatâs what it looks like to have democratic socialism. And what youâre seeing is that New Yorkers experienced this for six months and made the decision that they wanted to see more of it on the national stage as well.
AOC: Mike Johnson paints this as though itâs some partisan witch hunt. But if you donât want to be prosecuted for crimes, donât do crimes.
And heâs talking about running a protection racket. And we are already seeing that this Trump administration has run what some have called one of the largest pedophile protection programs in American history.
And so when Mike Johnson tells a group of wealthy donors, I'm the only thing standing between you, and a consequence that should rattle at the conscience of every American.
What he wants to do is createâor rather, not even create, because itâs already been createdâbut protect a class of impunity in America that says, âYou can commit whatever crime, and so long as you pay a check to us, we will protect you.â
And that is a model of extortion in American politics. And you know what? Thatâs their pitch.
Has there ever been a World Cup where a team is playing in the host country on the literal same day that the host country is bombing that team's country?
BREAKING: The Trump DOJ is rushing to appeal after MeidasTouch host Katie Phang won a major court victory in her lawsuit seeking greater transparency over the Epstein files.
In a statement, the DOJ attacked Judge Emmet Sullivan's ruling as "perverse," falsely claiming the decision "is suggesting DOJ violate the law by un-redacting victim names," while insisting it "has produced all responsive documents" and vowing to "appeal this decision with confidence."
But Sullivan's ruling does not order the release of victims' names. Instead, it requires the administration to justify key redactions, review and produce additional records, and publish the redaction log required by law.
BREAKING: A federal judge has granted Katie Phangâs motion for a preliminary injunction in the Epstein files case, ordering the Trump administration to take additional steps toward transparency.
The ruling requires the administration to defend its redactions, produce additional records, and publish the disclosure log required by law while the case moves forward.
NEW
A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to either release additional unredacted Jeffrey Epstein records or explain, by July 2, why those records and redactions should remain hidden. The order came in response to journalist Katie Phangâs lawsuit under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
Mamdani: I remember going to 26 Federal Plaza. I remember one of the happiest days of my life was when I got to become an American citizen.
And then my father, last year while I was running for mayor, he had his citizenship interview. And I was terrified. I was terrified because I knew that going into that building we didnât know anymore what it would mean for when he would come out and how he would come out.
Erin asks Mamdani-backed Claire Valdez about James Carville's attacking the democratic socialists who won last nightâs election: âNot only are you not a Democrat, you wish Democrats poorly, is what heâs saying. Is that true?â
