@rachelr0217 @karlamontano27 😂😭

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

Drawbacks of the UBI would be that people might become too dependant on the money given to them and they will be less determined to work for more knowing they will be receiving money in the end
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@Lizandr05625424 I agree, people might start taking the money for granted and not use it wisely because they are getting it for free
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@Mariseluhhh @APSteinhauser I agree the poverty rate would go down and those who don't usually get any benefits will qualify for the UBI
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@Stacy16378559 I agree, these people could work less knowing they have the UBI but they shouldn't rely on it completely
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

Some benefits could be that some people would come out of poverty, other would be financially stable, and it could raise the economy
#APLangdiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@Lizandr05625424 I agree, some would fight against gun control and bring up their rights to not have laws put into place
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

An Important factor that has led to us gun violence is that many people are able to get easy access to guns like teens who can buy them from someone they know
#APLangdiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@ShawSha01952734 @APSteinhauser I agree because in many mass shootings, the shooter has said to have had a mental illness and still no further gun regulations
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@TsifiraV I agree because even if the government does something about it there will be people who fight against those laws
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

The most interesting piece of information would be that there are more firearm suicides and firearm homicides are decreasing
#APLangdiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

I think the black lives matter moment has been successful in getting attention on all the injustices people have suffered with people like Stephanie Flower standing up for gun laws
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Simran Jeet Singh @simran]

Happy International Women’s Day to Senator Stephanie Flowers — and to all our sisters and moms speaking truth to power. ✊🏿❤️

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

The most important events to lead up to this moment would be those who have been shot by police
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Isaac G. Bryan @ib2_real]

They shot and killed him. They fired 20 rounds. All he had was a cell phone. He was only 22. He should still be here today. And, his killers will face no criminal charges. This is not justice. But this sure is America.

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@JesseyLuna I agree, most people say we should make a difference but don't really do much to make it happen
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

I think the black lives matter movement has been successful in getting attention on all the injustices people suffer through but people are still being mistreated
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@TsifiraV @penaangela2002 @GoddardMadds I agree, while we send our prayers to the families who have lost their loved ones that's really all we ever do because we don't stand up and actually fight for a change
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@Nataly_643 I agree because when a young life is taken away it brings so much attention to what is happening throughout our communities
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

The most important events to lead up to this movement would be those who have been shot by police because the police thought "they were being violent" or "had a gun"
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

@penaangela2002 I agree, the nonrenewable industy will try to push back on the GND because they make money off of their resources and dont care if they are harming the environment in the process they only care for the profit
#APLangDiscussion #AtlasAP

[Daniela Gutierrez @Daniela60545219]

I think that the most important part of the GND is that we are trying to reduce pollution and by reducing our GHG use then we can meet that goal
