One of the hardest elements of fully scripted curriculum is that so much of teaching is dynamic and unscripted.

@tweetsomemoore …We need to move away from “how do we include students with special needs into this classroom?” to “how do we teach to diversity and identity?”

A lot of teachers are stressed because their students are not where they expect them to be by this point.

They need to give themselves some grace. They can’t teach twice as hard and the kids can’t learn twice as fast.

We just take them where we get them… and move them forward.

One of the coolest things about our school… flags that hang in our library, representing the countries of the students we serve. #WeAreHWD
