This kid was so loved, by so many people, including my son. His family, and all of his many friends, are deeply distraught by this loss, and Trey deserves justice. 😭

@ArnieRozahKrogh@vxylily I wanted to mention mushrooms, because after about 16 yrs of dealing with treatment resistant depression, taking mushrooms 3 times over the span of 1.5 months is what broke me free of my depression and got me off of fluoxetine. I still have my days, but overall I'm good now.
@TheresaMcCull14@CTVNews That's a terrible way of thinking. These situations need more awareness, not less. And there are plenty of people who feel empathy for the people of the US, even if their leader is a nut job.
@flyosity As we handle my partners late father's estate, let me add, GET A WILL THOUGH. And make sure you tell people where it is! He passed Nov 11th, and it took us until yesterday to get a letter of administration for his estate. 😩
@MrsNomad33@808nobody@HustleBitch_ Yeah, and did you know that maternal mortality rates for *black* mothers is 2.6 TIMES higher than it is for white mothers? This is not racebaiting, it's statistically true. You cannot exclude race as one of the major factors of whether you're treated properly in medical settings.
@lynnesc68@808nobody@HustleBitch_ I think you mean, its not *only* about skin color. But it definitely is at least partially about skin color. Did you know that, statistically, the maternal mortality rate for black women is 2.6 times higher than the maternal mortality rate for white women?
@siclone31@808nobody@HustleBitch_ They were also taught that black people have *literal* thicker skin, which is actually one of the most asinine things I've ever heard.
@freakinholycrap@808nobody@HustleBitch_ You're right. However, even as a white woman, I can recognize that black women face exponentially higher rates of dire consequences in hospital settings. They not only face the medical misogyny that all women experience, but medical racism on top of that.
@ItsLuceeNicole@xevekiah That there was a cloudy part in his lungs. They said "It's probably still a virus, but we'll give you antibiotics just in case its a bacterial infection". Within 48 hours he was almost 100% better. But they treated me like I was hysterical because I was young and a first time mom
@ItsLuceeNicole@xevekiah I was 19 when I had my son. He got sick when he was a 1.5 months, he was vomiting constantly (eventually it was projectile), he was crying all the time, I had taken him to the childrens hospital 4 times because he just simply wasn't okay, and they kept saying 1/
@ItsLuceeNicole@xevekiah Concerningly rapid. He told me to take him to the hospital immediately and said he would call ahead to let them know that I was on my way. We got there, and I told them I wasn't leaving until they told me what was wrong with him. They FINALLY did an xray, and it came back 3/
@ItsLuceeNicole@xevekiah "It's was just a a virus, and i should wait it out". I should mention, all these visits were over the period of a month and a half. I took him to his pediatrician for his 3 month shots, and he said he couldn't do the shots because my son was too sick, and his breathing was 2/
@pebbles9677@MarioNawfal That's bullshit. ICE instigated this, they've been asked to leave Minneapolis and they've refused, AND they keep murdering citizens for no reason, THAT'S why the rest of the citizens are rioting.
@fnsweet3@ctvwinnipeg They didn't know it was windshield wiper fluid. If you actually read the article, you'd know that. It was in a different bottle, and they were told it was alcohol. These were kids. They made a mistake, no one deserved to die.
