@kin110UofR I saw this during the Germany vs. Costa Rica game today, and as sort of a follow up to my last post, I think this is a much better way to push towards equality. Putting women in important roles like this is amazing to see, and hopefully we see more of this.

I found this quite interesting how the USA is tying to push for more equality. But I'm not so sure this is the way to do it as the woman's team did not play in this game and win. I would like to know some peoples thoughts though.
@GregKin110@KIN110UofR I think this could be a potential solution that could work. Although they can't manage the fans near the tunnel. For example when the fans heckle Russell Westbrook they say harsh things, but the refs can't manage that like they can with court side fans https://t.co/D5GnEMysnP
@KIN110UofR In my neighbourhood we had an old playground, with metal slides and swings. It wasn't very high but it was a fun playground. It was made out of both metal and plastic. It was closer to #riskyplay. Although it has recently been changed and renovated to be #cultureofeducation
@KIN110UofR The ways that I've seen schools address this issue is scheduling tournaments, and big events on weekends, or on hollidays. Another thing is that I've seen teams and schools do fundraising to cut the costs as much as possible, by selling food, or doing bottle drives
@KIN110UofR I feel I would've been sucked into soccer since my family is from a country where that is the most popular sport, it would have been the one introduced to me and most familiar to me. I would have limited opportunities with less exposure to them from outside medias.
@KIN110UofR If I was born in the 1940s I feel like I wouldn't have had the chance to try as many sports. Since the NBA wasn't invented until the mid 1940s, I likely wouldn't have tried it, since there was a lot less exposure to it. I would likely have been sucked into soccer.
@KIN110UofR Sports have taught me many things. I learned how to work hard towards a goal, how to work hard to better myself, and many social skills to go along with it. It has given me many great memories that I still enjoy now.
@KIN110UofR Sports have been a massive part of my life, since I have always been surrounded by it. I was involved in many sports, growing up, being heavily influenced by what my brother would play. I have played football, soccer, and basketball, since I was a little kid.
@KIN110UofR I think that this criteria would be inadequate as I feel that the need for competition is not needed. This would make different activities such as climbing, running , or biking a non-sport since there is not always competition. But it well meets the other conditions.
