@LailaKIN110 @KIN110UofR I love to see this! This another great idea to be sustainable. It’s awesome to see events and companies becoming more aware and caring of the environment!

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

@DaniloKin110 @KIN110UofR Although we love to see the push for more equality and the women’s team getting what they deserve. I don’t understand why they are getting paid for a game they didn’t play in. It’s just a super weird way of going about this.

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

@KIN110UofR As we see more female in coaching and higher positions in sports we will see more stuff like this. This goes to show that when given a chance women can be successful in coaching mens sports.

@KIN110UofR We discussed in class about companies being more sustainable and what Nike has done came to mind. My family and I have bought a few of these pieces and really enjoyed them. They are a super unique style of clothing!

@KIN110UofR A man was shot dead after he honked his car in celebration of the US beating Iran. This is one example where a man was simply cheering for a team and was shot dead because of it.

@KIN110UofR From 2009-2011 there were bounties put on star players to injure and target them. In 2009 they won the super bowl the first year this began. They went to extremely violent measures to win games and more importantly win the super bowl.

on the lower 18 inches of the bat. Pitchers are not allowed to use pine tar because of the grip and the spin rate of the ball. Especially in cold weather, it allows pitchers to get more grip and pitch a better game. This is a common issue in baseball they have faced since 1983.

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

On Monday we discussed other ways of cheating besides using PEDs. When thinking about this, an incident in 2014 came to mind. When Michael Pineda used pine tar while pitching. In baseball, batters can use pine tar on the bat for grip... @KIN110UofR

I think this is a good idea for the NBA. As it’s at least a possible solution to the problem and will allow the game to run smoother. While preventing as much heckling as possible with these warning cards

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

In response to the players, coaches and refs being heckled by fans in the NBA. They started this new possible solution to prevent fans from being able to say whatever they want. Fans going as far as to talk about athletes kids and wife and wishing death upon them.@KIN110UofR

[Legion Hoops @LegionHoops]

NBA refs actually give out ‘warning cards’ to fans… wow 🤯

@KIN110UofR All the games and tournaments would mostly start after school ended. Which allowed the athletes to stay in school and learn but still be physically active.

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

@KIN110UofR When it comes to cutting costs fundraising was a great option. As well as we have seen tons of charity’s help families with the cost of sports like kidsport, jumpstart, and many more. When it comes to missing school. While I was in elementary and highschool everything happened…

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

@KIN110UofR These alternative sports have created their own section in sports. I feel like they are a separate category in sports. Recently though they have started to become more popular and gain characteristics of a typical sport. I think they are still alternative but soon will be typical

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

@KIN110UofR Have a program after these athletes get drafted/or whenever they enter the league on how to handle money and how to invest. Basically a financial literacy class for these athletes so they learn and become more careful with their money.

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

@KIN110UofR It’s a lot of money all at once. Do you really think you could control yourself if you got all of this money at once? Some athletes haven’t been privileged to see a fair amount of money in their life so they don’t know what to do. Leagues like the nfl,nba etc should..

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

@KIN110UofR When I was growing up the playgrounds did have the tall swings metal slides, and It didn’t have the soft ground. However, it wasn’t as risky as other play structures. It was fairly safe but I would say closer to risky play. As I got older I saw the new playgrounds be introduced.

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

Players will love this as many athletes have spoken out on struggles with mental health like Kevin Love and Demar Derozan. However owners and etc may not like this as it could impact ticket sales for example if guys decide to (star players) sit out a game. @KIN110UofR

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

The draft eligibility will be lowered from 19-18 years old and will also allow players to count mental health issues like physical injuries. Thought this was cool to link after class on Monday. How the greed of managers will make them act a certain way. https://t.co/f2XD94Zzlq

@KIN110UofR Flag football so I would not have a chance to play football because something like this didn’t exist in these times.

[Gregory Orellana @GregKin110]

@KIN110UofR Thankfully, there was a way I could play a form of football in a league without the aggression of tackle that was flag football. Flag football allowed me the opportunity to play football and to itch my urge to play football. If this was the 1940s or even 1980s there was no…
