Rico did well against Usyk, but he will probably never win another boxing match in his life (rematch or vs. any top-20 fighter).

@BoxrecGrey I don’t think think a massive one fight deal with Conor aligns with Khans and Zuffas long term strategy of building up the new league/ecosystem. It smells much more like an impulsive idea from the ever impatient Turki. But let’s see what happens.

@DanRafael1 What’s the idea from Zuffas point of view to only sign him for one fight? Don’t they need lots of fighters and matchups for their closed league/ecosystem? It’s good that we probably get an exciting fight in UK, but it also looks like a deviation from their long term strategy.

@StorgaardMikkel Det nye forbund World Boxing, som IOC har godkendt til at tage sig af OL-boksning, har indført en obligatorisk kønstest, og dermed kommer Khelif ikke til at kunne stille op hos kvinderne ved OL, VM etc. Det har ikke noget med ulykker som spæd at gøre.

kvinde. World Boxing, som fremover står for både VM og OL-turneingen, har indført kønstest. Khelif har ikke tilmeldt sig turneringer siden da. Khelif kan ikke længere udnytte det juridiske smuthul, der opstod ved seneste OL.

Danish super middleweight Oliver Zaren advances to 16-0 after stopping Samuel Cavret (8-3-1) in the 4th round in Copenhagen. Zaren once again looked impressive against a Frenchman, who had previously never been stopped, but also didn’t have the tools to compete with the Dane.

Hamza Hussein advances to 9-0 after outscoring Niklas Rasanen (now 17-4-1) to capture WBC’s International Silver cruiserweight title in Copenhagen, Denmark. Scores: 98-92, 99-91, 97-93. Hussein looked good, but got tired and lost the last 2-3 rounds in this his first 10 rounder.
