Massive FACT CHECK required on Barroness Berridge statement: 1) Families deregistering because of unmet SEND needs is a sensible reaction to impossible circumstances, often caused by underfunded or discriminatory schools or LAs. They don't need to be criminalised.

3) There has NEVER EVER been a serious case review at which a child's being home educated was a contributing factor to the harm they suffered. All children were known to authorities who did nothing (usually overstretched). Adding false red flags puts children at risk.

Random council worker rocks up and you are legally obliged to let them intrude on your child's safe space. This would be abuse of power, plain and simple.

Raheem Bailey has faced racial and physical abuse. He's 11years old and his school have NOT supported either him or his mother. Yet again racism wins, this time at the expense of a child's body. I invite @Abertillery3_16 to step up. 1/2
