@AllyFogg This is a false dichotomy. Recognising trans people and objecting to terms like "birthing people" are not mutually exclusive positions. Many people simply think that when discussing pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood, the word "women" remains accurate and appropriate.
@EmergeNextYear@anon_opin When I placed an ad on Checkatrade for works on my house I was immediately contacted by Polish builders who all visited the site within 48 hours and had quotes submitted within days. Any British builders getting in touch did so late and often did not show up to appointments. ๐คท
@AndrewG72179140@michaelbuck1990@JoeNaConnacht Behave. A few muppets wearing Leicester jerseys are not 'Munster'. Toulouse, Leicester, Wasps, Northampton, Toulon & yes, Munster, helped build the early competition, the home and away fixtures saw fans make life long friendships, classic games and enduring respectful rivalries.
@JoeNaConnacht It's a dead tournament, the magic is gone, the fans have been taken for granted, spivs have taken the golden goose and turned it into chicken nuggets.
@xylottie@bowie19872@eternalmaternal Go and stand at the start line of Bushy Park run and watch the first 100 or so men and women sprint off into the distance and tell me they are not treating it as a competitive race. Others at the back are more chilled and there for a social jog or walk. Both approaches are cool.
@Frances_Coppola@ethansgrumps Stand on the start line at my local parkrun (Bushy Park) and watch the first 100 or so people sprint off full tilt into the distance and then tell me there is not a competitive element to it. If you want to push a buggy or have social chat at parkrun then that's cool too.
@LevenePaul49134@sharrond62 Womens and girls sports are not vehicles of affirmation for men. The fact that you demand that fairness, dignity, welfare and safeguarding are just casually kicked to touch to accommodate this speaks volumes.
