@Ritsunf6v@drlukeevans I’ve come across men of all colours being refused testing by some GP’s but I’ve got no idea why you think white men are turned away from testing for prostate cancer because of their skin colour
@whippletom@dannybo75414644 The TRANSFORM trial promises interim output in 2 years. NSC promised to consider it. If it’s not enough then we face a 10 year wait for full data and 5 years to implement and that means another 180,000 deaths. I’m not positive of seeing population screening in my lifetime!

@whippletom@dannybo75414644 Yes of course anyone over 50 has a right to request a PSA test. They may still face push back from some GP’s and we need to do something about that. Yes family history is a challenge but there are plans to improve that. In any event the new funding won’t start until phase 2, 2029
