@talkSPORT John talking about his prospects on talk sport doesn’t exactly help himself. He went from small chance to no chance after going public. Absolute Sol Campbell attitude.
You can’t be having 4/5 touches when you’re playing against a low block like that.
1 or 2 touch around the box, runners and taking players on.
Pretty much have our best wingers on the bench.
Tommy needs to liven the boys up (again.)
@MileEnd0103@WHUdownunder You sound very angry about it all Chris it’s not that deep. Spence is absolutely rapid if you hadn’t noticed and played CL last year and won Europa League. Our defence is seriously lacking quality with not enough top defenders available for England in the big 6.
@MileEnd0103@WHUdownunder Of course it does because all of those clubs play in CL and Europe consistently. That pressure and intensity is experience and an advantage for us. They train with better players every day in training. It makes sense?
@MileEnd0103@WHUdownunder Completely disagree, thinking an elite manager doesn’t pick players based on ability - cmon now. It’s clear to see he wants athletic players who play with intensity, hence slab head left at home. Bowen is a great player and had his day but isn’t in that mould.
@MileEnd0103@WHUdownunder The difference with Tuchel that any other manager is the fact he wants to play a certain way so he’s called up players that fit that mould. Bringing “the best players” that don’t fit his mould is pointless. I’m talking about Bowen not MGW.
@MileEnd0103@WHUdownunder The front line is packed with athletes though Chris. Rashford, Gordon, Madueke and Saka. Bowen isn’t there in pace and is the difference as to why he isn’t at the WC. That Rashford goal highlighted that quite clearly what Tuchel wants.
