@hnjsamuels I believe it is the ‘balance’ feature in JavaScript, which splits text that spills over multiple lines to be of equal length across each line. It is in google docs and ‘canva’-type web template software.
@BenRamanauskas The key logical fallacy with this guy’s reasoning is that inequality causes asset price growth. Causality is not this clear cut. The reverse is also true: asset price growth causes inequality. I thought we had put to bed these Piketty-lite arguments years ago.
@Lyan82 The average operating margin for the industry is c. low 20% pre tax. With a greater than 50% market position (and growing via acquisition of smaller competitors) in sub categories of products, does imply even higher than average margins. https://t.co/YGj3kUHRjk
For officers tasked with investigating crimes, the loss of a treasured two-wheeler can be a long way down the list. But a pilot project has shown how tackling bike theft can be made easier https://t.co/vDc9qM2n0M 👇
@tomhfh The change in the black line from year to year is the net contribution. If the black line is going up, then that age is a net positive contributor (~20-64). The area under/over the black line is a cumulative contribution and summing cumulative figures over time is not correct.
P1!!! 🏆 From P6 to the top step, what an incredible feeling! Running the hard tyres for 34 laps was a risk but it paid off. 💪 Heading into the break with a 1-2 shows all the hard work is paying off. We always believed and will never stop. Let’s go team!!!
@d_a_t_green It is quite vague what the scope of a ‘peer review’ would be. Presumably it means Expert would be providing assurance to evidence, not their own opinion on evidence (as reviewing only) - which could create prob if later provide own opinion or this was treated at their opinion.
@charliek1895 For example, on a national level: Partha Dasgupta and the review done for the UK treasury.
More policy/applications based: Dieter Helm’s natural capital.
On a project/resource level: Hanley and Barbier’s pricing nature.
@charliek1895 Surely this is therefore a just a current pricing issue - there’s a long literature of environmental economics to ensure that the benefits of nature are adequately captured and trade offs such as that you’ve highlighted are recognised.
It seems it is Steve Darling's long term assistant, Jennie, who has recently been promoted as the MP for Torbay's first parliamentary staffer. Great stuff. https://t.co/hTZ84Ci4An
@Conor435_@MikeyCycling Also: none of the rows are directly related in this table: differing years, locations and (therefore) policy regimes. Using each as inputs into this calc will carry usual disclaimers - I doubt a 0.6 difference is statistically significant (behind paywall so cannot see if tested).
