@hockeyanalysis The performative nature of the entire thing. The constant tech issues. The incredible waste of time between each pick, often resulting in no payoff whatsoever because of some technical failure following the wait. The lack of presence of team staff.
Just a reminder that this league’s top priorities will always be, in some order, the bottom line and whatever makes GMs’ jobs easier. What fans want is way down the list.
@BCprospect I think if those wingers can be very high end second liners, that's good value. Otherwise I'd be tempted to take the centre. It seems like you can get average second line wingers for almost nothing (Marchment).
@BCprospect If they think that Carbonneau's intensity/body language concerns come from a good place then I'd go with him. If they think he's a cancer, then Lakovic. They seem like opposites from a personality standpoint. Intense guy with regulation issues vs awesome kid with compete issues.
Argentina is turning a corner. Milei’s libertarian playbook is delivering: inflation’s down, growth is up, and the economy’s finally breathing. https://t.co/tslEegwkca
What's striking about capitalist civilization is that it has no real direction. There's no vision for social progress, no commitment to improving human welfare or ecology. All we get is the chaos of profit-oriented production and accumulation as the world burns around us.
