Thanks to the EFM ( Éducateurs Franco-Manitobains ) for their support in the creation of our Indigenous garden . We are underway- many prairie plants have been purchased along with other supplies. Stone benches have been placed! Now if only the rain would stop … @magLRSD

Recently at @magLRSD’s opening of our Truth and Reconciliation tree, indigenous elder Chickadee spoke about being honoured and moved by the significance of our tree and its 215 hearts/ leaves. Seeing the tree and its messages encourages everyone to reflect on reconciliation .

The grade 5/6 @magLRSD students carrying out their Secret Santa toy donations to be brought to Christmas Cheer Board. Their generous donations of over 90 toys, filled the toy bin at the Cheerboard warehouse!

So proud! The beautiful bilingual picture books that the @magLRSD grade 6 students created on diversity have arrived! After read-alouds throughout the school, they will be put in our library! The CMHR has even asked for a copy of each to be put in their reference library! Wow!
