Tanjaret Daghet (or ‘pressure cooker’), is a sonic expression of their psychic experiences.

After discovering trio Tanjaret Daghet at their concert in Beirut, Basil had a fateful meeting with the band, which sparked their collaboration as a quartet under Audysea.

Since its inception in 2008, Tanjaret Daghet went through a series of metamorphoses to become the band it is today. Composed of three musicians: guitarist and backing vocalist, Tarek Khoulouki, drummer Dany Shukri, and bassist/vocalist Khaled Omran.

Sarah Kaskas is an award-wining Lebanese filmmaker, music composer and film educator. She co-founded Karaaj Films (2016), an independent production company that focuses on documentaries and fiction films dealing with identity and marginalized communities in Lebanon.
