We’re pleased to report our staff removed Christmas lights from a deer’s antler in the Bedford area. Sometimes these situations resolve themselves when the deer sheds its antlers. In this case, staff took action when they saw the lights had shifted around the animal’s neck.
An eight-year-old girl was gifted 600lbs of pet food this Christmas after she made a wish to help animals in need.
Instead of toys, Landyn Wadsworth, 8, asked for money in order to buy pet food for homeless dogs and cats at the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter in Pasco, Washington.
On this day in 1964, Parliament voted 163-78 to accept the new Canadian flag. The House of Commons rose and sang O Canada. Diefenbaker stayed seated and sang God Save The Queen.
