A teen burglary crew accused of terrorizing California neighborhoods is finally behind bars after police link the group to nearly 80 break-ins across the Bay Area.
Surveillance video shows suspects breaking into vehicles, stealing garage door openers and using them to access homes. In one chilling moment, an armed suspect points a gun toward the interior door of a garage, apparently waiting for a homeowner to emerge.
Police say the crew stole firearms, vehicles, power tools and other valuables before investigators tracked down four juveniles following a months-long investigation.
The case then gets even bigger. Detectives say they uncovered an alleged fencing operation and recovered roughly $250,000 worth of suspected stolen property.
