@strawhat199@Colteastwood I'm going to need you to attain a better grasp of the English language if we are going to have a real discussion about culture by the decades.
@fakeBobbyDuff@TimCowlishaw That's what it sounds like. Granted, the top seed for each Conference is practically handed a pass to the Conference Finals now with the format, but yeah... that's what he is out on a limb with here.
@jack439xfoc@Colteastwood I'm with you. 6, personally, seems just a bit low, but anything over 7 seems too much. Fun experience. Nice little trip of nostalgia and a reminder - to me - that the places/times that make up our memories of our youth are frozen that way for us. They're never the same again.
@hockey_fan007@HouseOfDeGucci@NHLRumourReport Obviously, the Cap Space may also be needed to sign their own current players.
I truly want Robo to stay in Dallas. I am just saying there are teams out there that might, in today's NHL, make the decision to extend that offer sheet.
The possibility and the potential exist.
@hockey_fan007@HouseOfDeGucci@NHLRumourReport Not exactly true.. there are 22 teams that have their next 4 1st round picks after the upcoming 2026 draft.
Any of those teams - dependent upon cap space - can extend an offer sheet to him.
@Colteastwood To be fair, it reminds me a bit of the "packaging debate" at launch of the Series consoles and PS5. The whole "premium experience" vs cheap presentation back and forth. Both are amusing - but the logo is a sweet update.
@Razor5Hole Last year, both Fla and Edm came out of the weaker 2-3 Divisional matchup and got by the higher seeded teams that had to fight through the stronger Divisional gauntlet to make it to the Conference Final.
The system favors the weaker, mid teams by making the top teams go to war.
@JustNotAFan@samnestler If McDavid says that he won't re-sign there, they trade him.
Just like Vancouver traded Quinn Hughes when he told them that he would not be signing n extension to stay there.
But, that's the only way they trade him.
