@HockeyPatrol 2 years signed contracts. So ya, If Auston doesn’t commit, the can build around McKenna and rebuild/retiool. I mean if they do well, Auston will commit, but if not, they get assets for him in a future trade. Smart hockey moves by a guy that everyone thought would suck.
@HockeyPatrol Unfair criticism. With the exception of the 1rst overall pick, he has revamped this team in less than two months. Something Treliving and a Dubas before him couldn’t do in the YEARS they had. Thing I like most, is with the exception of Raddysh and Bobrovsky, everyone in 2 years
@MatsSonDean13 I know times have changed for sure, but Cliff Fletcher was able to fleece Calgary and Edmonton in deals, reshaped our whole team in the early 90’s, but yes, trader Cliff was one of a kind
@HotTakeHockey Chicago would be most aggressive to deal for Knies. Montreal….wont get done. It would come back over and over to haunt the Leafs. If, big IF, the Leafs decide to trade Knies, it’ll be out west, Sam Jose, Chicago, maybe Vancouver, but ya. Only a Treliving would make this deal
@HotTakeHockey To trade a power forward, who still hasn’t hit his prime, a dog, like Knies for what you have down, is ludicrous. This isn’t even intriguing to entertain. And let’s face it, Colorado is due for an off year, and that pick May end up being top 10 next year.
