@MaceMadunusus The US not venturing into the Strait of Hormuz though is a sign even the US isn't confident they've nailed enough land based anti-ship missiles.
Nailing Iranian ships is great PR but they aren't a threat at all. Sea mines and missiles are a bigger problem.

We're in uncharted territory- if WTI crude holds these gains tomorrow- the current rise of 29.9% or $27.16/bbl would be its largest single day price jump- in both percent and amount- ever. Ever. EVER.

@MaceMadunusus Iranian's religious leadership are all whackos, but the US strategy is pretty dumb. We climbed up the escalation ladder so fast hoping for a Venezuela 2.0, but Iran's surviving leadership will wait it out. I don't think they're going to surrender unless new protests resurface.

@MaceMadunusus But that didn't just randomly happen, they did that in response to their entire leadership being bombed by Israel/US.
It's a strategy that makes sense. If you were facing an existential threat to your regime, make it as painful as possible economically for everyone to pressure
