I connect with most of my mutuals on Discord, but if anyone's interested I'm now [email protected] (it'll be a while before I figure out how to use Mastodon).
Eventually I'll get a Tumblr going, and it'll be DarkOfNate as well.
Probably won't use any Meta platforms though.
As we all grieve the immense loss of actor James Earl Jones (Star Wars, The Lion King), I wanted to celebrate one his funnier milestones, reading Letterman’s best Top Ten List, reciting commercial jingles with his spectacular, powerful, booming voice. #RIPJamesEarlJones
Obsessed with this guy on the US men's gymnastics team who's only job is pommel horse, so he just sits there until he's activated like a sleeper agent, whips off his glasses like Clark Kent and does a pommel horse routine that helps deliver the team its first medal in 16 years.
Back in the mid-90s these two were fucking ubiquitous and they basically never did a normal photo shoot. You'd spot them in Investment Portfolio Quarterly being asked about their savings plans and the accompanying photos would be them pouring oil on one another in a dungeon.
@GailSimone Depends on the writer, obviously, but: both of them win impossible fights, but in Batman knows when to throw in the towel. Conan takes him unless he's got a LOT of prep time.
Happy Prodigy day, Star Trek fans! To appease the almighty Netflix algorithm I'm playing the full season today in the background and will watch the episodes later at my leisure, and I encourage other Trekkies to do the same. Enjoy!

The book I'm reading has a character who drives a beat-up, comically ancient Toyota pickup with 200000 miles. I was nostalgically picturing my uncle's truck from my childhood.
Then we find out the character bought it in 2010... the same year I bought my current Rav 4...
The other day some rando in a live chat called me "xenophobic" because I support the (historically accurate) inclusion of a foreign black man in a game about medieval Japan and I haven't been able to stop laughing about it.
Seriously. Xenophobic. For including foreigners. :)
@GailSimone I couldn't even begin to narrow a list of their full catalogue down to just 10, even starting to think about it makes my brain itch. But if I compiled a non-exhaustive list of absolute Beatles essentials, maybe 20 or so, George would have at least 4.
