Happy 2026! 🥳This will be the new pinned post but I will link 2025’s at the end.
Here’s the portfolio positioning for the new year:
$TLT: Defense first. If we sell off having liquidity is king.
$HSY: Cocoa prices are down 50%. Hershey is still a world dominator and a long term hold
$CCJ: Whether it’s the demand from AI or a push from the administration we are in the nuclear renaissance
$RKLB: They keep growing and keep executing and Neutron should continue that trend
$ATAI: Part of a biotech basket, still speculative and small
$ROIV: A biotech recommendation from Porter Stansberry
$MDT: Medical device maker and a play on aging demographics
$MUR: The world needs energy and I believe oil stocks are ready to run again
$MLI: Mueller just quietly makes money.
$MKTW: My turn around bet on the Stansberry team.
Speculation
$KRKNF: Batteries for unmanned underwater drones.
I continue to hold gold and crypto. With the bumpy year last year I am adding to my crypto holdings with Bitcoin and XRP.
Best of luck!
Here’s my portfolio from 2025 I find this keeps me accountable and focused

So I did my tax loss harvesting/tax gain rebalancing New Years Eve. Here is what my portfolio looks like going into 2025: $HSY $TLT $RKLB $CCJ & a diverse basket of small biotech stocks.
My thinking is this: $TLT in case of a market crash and flight to safety trade. We saw 2 separate events in 2024 where the VIX massively spiked which shows there are serious market imbalances. The Yen is back to the level where the market panicked in August and the Bank of Japan is discussing having to raise rates again which would threaten the carry trade being used to pump Western assets.
$HSY an extremely good stock at a discount due to a drought in West Africa causing a temporary spike in cocoa prices. The weather has to change sometime. I plan to hold Hershey for the rest of my life.
$RKLB my little speculative stock is up 500% in 6 months. Wow! I plan to hold for the next several years to see if this develops in a large company or if space is just the flavor of the week due to political hype. Time will tell.
$CCJ this is my AI play, due to the energy needed, as well as a play on the transition to cleaner energy, nuclear. It also has a geopolitical angle as even if the incoming administration ends the Ukraine conflict relations between Russia and the US are unlikely to normalize for many years. Uranium is going to be very precious going forward.
Lastly my biotech basket: $ATAI $ROIV $MAIA. ROIV was a Porter Stansberry recommendation, and that man has made me a lot of money over decades. ATAI is a spec on microdosing a nod towards MAHA and the potential shifting attitudes on drug reclassification. And MAIA because every Tolkien themed company seems to blow it out of the water so why not speculate?
I maintain a basket of biotech because you only need to ride one biotech boom to retire wealthy, but the difficulty is always in determining what is going to work and what isnt, what is going to get approval and what won't. Better to scatter your fire in this sector. It can also be dead money for decades.
I also maintain some crypto holdings, gold and ample cash. I am using covered calls and cash secured puts to boost monthly income. Annnnd all that is my positioning and rationale for 2025.
Anyone have any thoughts or anything they want to add about their personal allocations. Always interested in mining for new ideas.
Cheers! 🍻
$ASTS Everybody wanted to buy as price exploded to $130+ but nobody wants to buy at $57 with a 51% short interest huh?
This is the dumbest market I’ve ever seen.
This is a really good point.
The second we see a pullback the very people who were overly positive a few weeks earlier now are waiting for the absolute bottom to fall out
Im seeing a lot of greedy price targets for entries people are looking to “enter” when we already down 40% from highs on the hot names and they want them another 40% lower.
They stay sidelined forever.
Bottoming signals.
I’ve always been an all in person I don’t like having small size among multiple bags cause you just end underperforming the index.
During drawdowns you round trip it all but on the up swings you 100% your portfolio on 8 weeks.
Surprisingly to me, I’ve been in this position probably 20 times in my life with margin calls, black swan events, unexpected news, bad earnings, you name it but I still feel exactly the same pain every single time.
I assumed over time that would go away but it doesn’t.
I don’t know if that’s just being a human, me being emotional or just the fact of losing 40% of your net worth in weeks is pure brutal pain regardless of who you are
Probably all of them
Pain is just a constant of existence, so I guess the solution is to minimize the amount of times you go through deep pain but at the same time the actions that can cause you the most pain are the ones that can cause the highest happiness, euphoria, love, accomplishment
Markets have been really easy since 2022.
2020 was the last serious gut check. Good times make weak men.
People think this is bad man this is above average good times
Conviction strikes again
Not throwing shade but I’ll point out the index is up 8% YTD.
Doesn’t look so bad compared to a smoldering crater.
Gotta prepare yourself for turbulence my hippies
I am stepping away from X
I got wiped out... completely. My own fault was basically gambling at the end... no crying in the casino, right?
Just wanted to put it out there that the space/investing community on X is amazing and thanks for all the memories! Felt special being a small part of it.
@QuetzalPhoenix You avoid certain topics. Your clothing and bearing leave little doubt as to what you are.
Most people are still actually normal and understand politics are divisive
