@JOJOsaysbreee @ChuckZ85 Im very aware but just based on release date of the movies on the list, clearly they did only show them modern movies. And looking up the study they only screen new movies and compare it to when they screened the older so there's a bias.

[Dark_Pinoy Q(-.-Q) @Dark_Pinoy]

@JOJOsaysbreee @ChuckZ85 This is clearly a modern day 2010 and later movies list. And for today's audiences shocking is the new jump scare hence why it would be scary.

[Dark_Pinoy Q(-.-Q) @Dark_Pinoy]

@JOJOsaysbreee @ChuckZ85 Like if anything doesn't deserve to be on the list it would be hereditary because it's way too slow. I watch that movie when it came out of vast majority of the people around were laughing at it not to say that it's not scary because it has its moments but yeah

[Dark_Pinoy Q(-.-Q) @Dark_Pinoy]

@JOJOsaysbreee @ChuckZ85 Smile 1 and 2 definitely deserve to be on the list. Especially if they are surveying general audiences who don't watch horror movies on the daily. It's basically modern day the ring and the ring scared the shit out of all the people who watched it in the theaters

@SFBDim @TheQuivix @NegativeSymptom @SFBTom That's newgrounds erasure because I love the original Detective Grimoire!

Finished Mermaid Mask on stream. 9.5/10
So much detail and dialogue with an intriguing storyline with a fun cast of characters! Just wish it had more puzzles! Can't wait for the next one @SFBTom and @SFBDim !

Having a blast playing The Mermaid Mask by @SFBTom and @SFBDim ! The soundtrack is banginnnnn.... also how the heck did y'all record so much unique dialogue for all of the clues. Not even Phoenix Wright does that!

@JOJOsaysbreee Oh for sure. The ending is the worst ending of the entire franchise but leading up to that is good. But I think because of them not establishing the family in Rise giving a crap about each other it lessened the impact of the climax of Rise for me.

[Dark_Pinoy Q(-.-Q) @Dark_Pinoy]

@JOJOsaysbreee I mean it's hard to compare when 2013 is my favorite Evil Dead of the franchise in general. I just like how the characters actually felt like a family unlike in Rise. This franchise is mean spirited, which means I need to feel bad for the characters when they inevitably die

[Dark_Pinoy Q(-.-Q) @Dark_Pinoy]

@SteveMightSay I'm gonna be honest, maybe because it's because I'm on a 3070 but it doesn't look THAT much better imo. I know it's more colorful but it's not like the original looked bad for when it released.

[Dark_Pinoy Q(-.-Q) @Dark_Pinoy]

Maybe it's because I'm playing it when I'm not getting scheduled a lot at my job but I think I'm liking Assassin's Creed: Black Flag more this time around
