There are lots of Glaswegians of us w who are worried and raging and disgusted at what Glasgow’s become. We’re watching the city fall apart in real time while folk like "Mr IRA" and the SNP supporting clowns sit there acting like everything’s fine. Many women and girls are now genuinely apprehensive about heading into the city centre for a night out just to meet friends for a drink or a meal.

The city’s cracking apart in broad daylight, women and girls are being followed by migrants and raped and (or) sexually abused by migrants, and yet you’ve still the Pro Indy/SNP and those on the left in Glasgow brushing it off like they’re experts in imaginary problems...
Their smug, dismissive routine and their “nothing to see here” act, isn’t just clueless, it’s part of the reason the city keeps sliding into decline. They’re not just ignoring reality; they’re daring everyone else to shut up and pretend it’s fine while it gets worse.

It’s the council elections in Scotland and Glasgow in 2027, and if people genuinely want to reclaim this city, then they need to get out and vote. No more shrugging, no more silence, no more pretending the decline isn’t happening. Glasgow won’t fix itself. And if folk are serious about change, then they need to make their voices heard at the ballot box and boot the SNP out of control of Glasgow City Council.
That’s the only way this city stops sliding and starts fighting back.

In 24 hours: one death, two attempts. Prevention on paper. Neglect in practice.

Yesterday a 29 year old died after jumping from a bridge in Glasgow’s east end.

Another young man was pulled back from a bridge.

Today a man in crisis was talked down.

Police told his partner he would go to Stobhill for a mental health assessment, then to the station.

He never went to Stobhill.

NHS hung up because he was “in custody.”

They held him so a nurse could see if he was fit for a criminal interview.

That is not care.

That is a man in crisis treated like a suspect.

We are done watching families lose sons and fathers while this government talks about prevention.

We are done with women being failed in our streets and men being left with nothing.

If you will not protect our people, do not expect silence.

We will hold the Scottish Government, the NHS and Police Scotland accountable.

If rapid change does not come, the pressure will not fade. It will grow. Take that seriously.

518 were men.

That is 74%.

The male rate was 2.9 times the female rate.
