π§Ά We're proud to launch our brand new official tartan, βSamaritartanβ, this Burns Day!
Samaritartan symbolises all of our lives, intertwined, connected & often touched by suicide in some way π

This weekend, we hosted The Gathering - bringing together volunteer leaders, Lived Experience Advisory Group members, staff, and senior leadership.
It was great to be together, sharing our thoughts and ideas as we work towards a Scotland where fewer lives are lost to suicide.
During 2025, more than 950 people volunteered their time for Samaritans in Scotland - many of them helping to answer the 3.3 million calls made to Samaritans.
Thank you for the time you give, the calls you answer, and the lives you help to save π #VolunteersWeek

We worked with our Lived Experience Advisory Group to develop our manifesto, 'Five Priorities to Save Lives', ahead of the election. LEAG members, Donna and Joel, spoke about why it matters that our asks are listened to by the next Scottish Government.
