@virginmedia And the rate they claimed i agreed to stay at (£20+), is half of what I'm being billed for (£40+).
What does it take to leave this terrible company?
@virginmedia I've just tried to cancel my account. I was left on hold for over 2 hours until your team went offline, and I've just seen I've been sent an order summary for a new account.
How is this anything other than fraud?

I have emails giving me deals on returning equipment etc, but somehow according to your customer service requested to stay, and now I'm being billed for service i have cancelled despite no emails confirming this.

@virginmedia Renewal. My contract ended a while back so i rang support to ask for my options to get a better deal. I was given confusing advice to place a new order for a new customer deal. So i asked on live chat for clarification, and was left on hold, and a new order was created
@virginmedia I'm trying to cancel because the best renewal quote for phone and broadband is £72 when i can get a similar package from BT (and what you yourself offer to new customers) for around £30, so yes planning on moving both phone and broadband.
