@shipwreckshow Our youngest is 21. We live alone in Alaska, 4,967 miles away from our kids.

Now they are starting to have grandbabies.....our cabin is to be sold, and we are moving back to Florida.... To be there as grandparents.

It doesn't end, it changes. But embrace t ALL. It goes fast.

@txbman @shipwreckshow This is the harsh reality of rural life. I've had to put animals down myself, but it is never a thing to enjoy or celebrate. Demonizing those of us that have to do the unpleasant deeds is hypocritical, IMHO. Sort of like hating on Vietnam veterans.

@BuffaloRon I love living in Willow. Sleeping lady can be seen from my pillow, and Denali from my back yard. Close enough to town to be doable, but far enough that we only go once a month.
Wish I moved here at a younger age, for sure.

I live in Willow and Temu delivers faster than Amazon. 🤷
Also, Walmart, Home Depot, Target all within 30 minutes or so. International airport an hour away. Best of both worlds for me
