@Dirgecaller@alojoh Don't forget Fisker was the original designer of the Model S, which was canned because it was unfeasible to manufacture. He also went on to create two failed attempts are car companies.
@thinkingwest As more external communication mediums infiltrated the home and their intensities increased (radio, tv, 24 hr news, internet blogs, social media, scroll addiction) the worse the west has become in thinking and behavior.
@spencerpratt People who have to use a lot of words to convey simple messages usually don’t have anything of substance to communicate. Make up in quantity what you lack in quality.
@radar_online Some people are stupid enough to believe that you’re supposed to be born with experience working in government.
I’d just like to say, it ain’t rocket science people.
@spacanpanman Announcements mean nothing, technology and execution means everything.
@grok how many satellites does $ASTS have and how many do they plan to deploy? Who’s going to launch their payload to orbit?
What SpaceX is pulling off right now is actually insane. No one else in history has done this simultaneously and not even close
→ Down in Texas, Starship V3 is fully fueled and gearing up for Flight 12 next Tuesday. SpaceX is about to launch the biggest vehicle ever built from a brand-new pad
→ Over in Florida, SpaceX is launching a Dragon cargo ship to the ISS today. It’s wild that flying supplies to a space station just feels like a normal Wednesday
→ Meanwhile in California, SpaceX quietly launched classified satellites for the US government on Monday (NROL-172) and it barely even made the news
And the craziest part is that they’re casually squeezing in THREE more Falcon 9 launches (Starlink and Globalstar) right in the middle of all this
Six launches. Three different launch sites. Three massive milestone missions
All in the span of just 8 days
SpaceX is in a league of its own
@actuallyajoke Mine slammed on the breaks this morning while leaving my neighborhood because a bird was walking in the street. It was pitch black so I didn’t see the bird until it decided to fly off. My first thought was, “why is this bird in the road in the dark”?
“The entrepreneur is disciplined by profit and loss. The bureaucrat is disciplined mostly by politics. The entrepreneur must satisfy customers. The bureaucrat must satisfy procedures, superiors, interest groups, and elected officials.
The market identifies good allocators.
Politics identifies good communicators.
Those are not the same skill.
Entrepreneurs Build. Bureaucracies Maintain.”

This is what needs to be taught and learned every single year of high school because repetition is the key to learning and understanding. We would have less people convinced by the likes of AOC and more by the risk takers and builders. Grow the pie and everyone wins.
Tesla navigation will save a pin exactly where you dropped it, and navigate to it, for a few days, maybe a week, and then automatically moves the pin to some random nearest address. This changes where the vehicle navigates to on FSD to THE WRONG LOCATION, usually not even on the right side of the road. This bug needs fixed. It has been like this for a long time, maybe always. Pin was placed on the star, and saved as a favorite. The favorite automatically moved to the X. This bug is reproducible.
