@MelJStride @KemiBadenoch All it’s doing is stopping that money from being taxed AT SOURCE. Thus resulting in more money changing hands, benefitting more people, before ending up in the treasury through VAT, paying bills, fuel duty or whatever else people spend it on that incurs tax - which is everything.

@MelJStride @KemiBadenoch I don’t understand how it costs anything? People earn that money and spend it. Every time it changes hands, it incurs taxation which means every penny eventually hits the treasury regardless. It just causes more economic activity in the process, benefiting everyone.
