SHOUT 26/08/22 @ 15:43 - Atlantic 85 tasked to 2 14 year old boys who had drifted offshore Beesands. The boys had lost one paddle and we’re being blown offshore. They had the good sense to raft up together and called 999 to request help. The 85 found them and recovered them.
It’s been another busy day here for the team @DartRNLI.
This morning, 5 of our team took park in @RoyalRegatta invitation whaler race taking second place to a team from @RoyalAirForce.

@DartRNLI tasked at 23:20 last night to assist our colleagues from @RNLISalcombe with a disabled historic MFV suffering with engine failure. Salcombe ALB handed over the tow of the vessel to Dart Atlantic 85 Lifeboat who towed it back to the Dartmouth Harbour.
Tenacious alongside in sunny #Dartmouth next to @DartmouthBRNC whilst on her URNU voyage.
The URNU cadets visited the naval college and were also given a tour of the @DartRNLI lifeboat station before departing for Alderney this lunchtime.
With extreme weather forecast for tomorrow, please #RespectTheWater. Stay well back from breaking waves that could easily sweep you out to sea. In a coastal emergency dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard. If you end up in the water unexpectedly, #FloatToLive.
It’s the last day of @RoyalRegatta here in Dartmouth. Come down and see us at Coronation Park where we are taking part in the emergency services day. We’ll also be demonstrating our skills at 1330 in a SAR demo on the River Dart just off Town Pontoon.
