@alicekeeler Moving to student-centred daily, spiraled problems has increased my Ss ability to think critically and problem solve. I've seen increased results on all forms of assessment, including standardized tests. I hate the "they need to learn this way (old) for university" argument!

In other classes students will get boring, rote, too much, teacher lecture, paperwork, etc... IT IS NOT YOUR JOB TO PREPARE KIDS FOR THIS. You can not control the quality of learning in other classes, but in YOUR class you can give them an amazing experience.
