India is a very diverse nation which is united under the Indian Constitution. Our unity is based in our diversity, if the diversity is disturbed then there will chaos. To maintain the diversity, it is essential to give justice to all religions, castes and sub-castes and bring an equitable growth.

The caste census is a tool to identify the real numbers of every caste and sub-caste to understand their rightful proportional representation. Even SC on multiple occasions has said that reservations need to be based on empirical data.

The caste census is a noble tool to empower the backward castes and sub-castes but it should not be politicized to divide the nation. The political parties need to be careful to ensure that this issue doesn't alienate any particular group and that it doesn't send a wrong message of majoritarianism.

India should not be obsessed with becoming the next superpower, instead she should aspire to become a key player who brings all the sides together in the future multi polar world order. A superpower just divides the world and instills fear using hard military and economic power. India should build upon her legacy of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' and become a power that finds the middle ground and solves international crisis. The recent Russia-Ukraine war and G20 summits are apt examples of how India can balance both the sides and build a consensus. India can also leverage her soft power to strengthen her place in the global order. India should build an alliance that represents all the regions proportionally to lead the world.

M. S. Swaminathan, the 'father of Indian green revolution' passed away yesterday at the age of 98.

Before the green revolution in 1960s, India was net importer of food grains. The green revolution changed the entire scenario and made India a self dependent country with respect to food grains. It is very essential for a nation to be independent when it comes to fundamental subjects like agriculture, health, education, etc. Our self reliance in agriculture boosted our overall development in a big way. The following 'white revolution' further strengthed the nutritional health of our citizens.

India should invest more in research and development and support the scientists and technical/research institutions to bolster our development. A true superpower is always at the forefront of scientific innovations and technological advancements.

It is often said that sports is a force that unites a nation and raises the morale of it's entire population. On one hand, India has won nearly 2 dozen medals at Asian Games and on other hand, India is few days away from hosting the Cricket World Cup.

The fundamental concern with majority of the Indians is that we remember every match of our cricket team for generations but we forget our medal winners at international competitions in a day. There should be a balance in between cricket and all other sports, so that our future generations are willing to explore different sports and participate professionally in them.

Our collective consciousness definitely has more than enough space to remember both cricket and other sports. At the end of the day, it is not just cricket but all sports collectively which forges nationalism in the psyche of individuals irrespective of caste, religion, colour, gender, everything.

We, as Indian citizens have lost our ability to call a spade a spade. Our political leanings and biases have overshadowed our sense of judgement. Any democracy evolves only when it's citizens stand up for their rights and demand justice. We should let the political parties play with our minds and instead seek the truth and call their bluffs. The recent comments (abuses) of Ramesh Bidhuri (BJP LS MP) against Kunwar Danish Ali (BSP LS MP) are seriously disturbing for our democracy.

There has been a constant decline in our parliamentary proceedings, both qualitatively and quantitatively. The number of sittings and hours is decreasing each passing year. The debates, zero hours and question hours have been reduced to theatrics to score political points. The opposition (irrespective of the parties) rush into well and disrupt almost every session. The office of the Speaker has been politicized and the chairs acts in a biased and unfair manner.

The parliament is the temple of Indian democracy and our MPs should uphold it's integrity and sacredness.

We are of the firm opinion that India needs a caste census. In such a diverse nation with so many castes and sub-castes, it is essential to have a clear picture of the reality with respect to the growth and development of various sections of society.

The idea of reservation (SC, ST, BC, OBC) was brought in to support the equitable growth of backward classes. There needs to be clear numbers and statistics to gauge the true development of these castes.

Further, due to the increasing demands of many other castes for reservation, it is of utmost importance that we are aware of the reality on the ground, as increasing the 50% ceiling will not lead to any solution until there is a clear strategy to empower every caste.

This historic move will revolutionize the politics of India. Women, who constitute roughly 50% of the population will finally get the proportional representation they deserved.
Various studies across the world have shown that having women leaders leads to a more holistic development and sustainable growth.

The public naming of India as an alleged suspect in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar by Canada PM Justin Trudeau is a geopolitical disaster.
His claims have no supporting evidence and no major nation has sided with him. This unnecessary escalation will bring the India-Canada relations to a new low. India will stand firm on its denial of any involvement and will take strong counter measures. The trade and economic relations between India and Canada is not that consequential, so Canada has no leverage over India.
At a time, when all the major powers are investing and supporting India (recent G20 and IMEC being best examples), Justin Trudeau is just playing plain vote bank politics. This diplomatic face off will be interesting to watch.
