The Spectator produced the most racist and vicious articles on Jason Arday under Gove's leadership! At least 20 of them were before his death! Yet before the Arday story broke, his girlfriend, an Oxford professor, was charged with possession of child sexual abuse content!!!

Remember this, the Poznan, yellow inflatable bananas, when in just a few months, City fans beg for mercy and plead for their club not to be liquidated and banished into obscurity. Remember this arrogance

Micah has to stop this “but there’s an appeal” shit when anyone says they’re guilty. Yes there’s an appeal, but it’s because they were found guilty after due process. There’s no “not yet” shit anymore. Now they’re guilty till proven innocent, can’t have it both ways.

[Parody Nigel Farage @Parody_PM]

Hmmm… who to believe… Andy Burnham or the compulsive liar who got sacked twice for lying, lied to Parliament, lied to The Queen, cheated on two wives and ignored the Ministerial Code. Tricky one.

Mark Gaskell, who racially abused a woman and her kid and attempted to assault her, has deactivated his Facebook account and deleted his MyJobQuote profile after both comment sections were flooded with people calling him out.

NEVILLE AND CARRAGHER TEAR INTO “SHAM” PREMIER LEAGUE AND DEMAND ACTION NOW!

Carragher: It’s FAKE.

Neville: I DON’T WANT to commentate!

The Premier League is in CRISIS!

On the Gary Neville Podcast, the pair pulled no punches as they tore into the Premier League’s handling of the Man City situation, warning that the league’s credibility is crumbling in real time.

Carragher says allowing Man City to carry on as normal is killing the league’s credibility. It casts suspicion over the whole Premier League, exactly like the Italian league after the Calciopoli scandal, where match-fixing and referee corruption saw Juventus stripped of titles and relegated, with the damage lasting for years.

Carragher: “We’ve got these eyes on us from all over the world asking is this real? Is this fake?”

Neville went further and said he doesn’t even want to commentate on City’s games anymore. “This is a real problem for the Premier League right now.”

The Premier League needs to act now. Every game that passes hits their credibility. Yesterday’s match was a farce — carrying on like nothing has happened and it’s business as usual.

No one takes it seriously. The league is a joke and the authorities need to get a grip. This cannot continue.

The fans are furious. When Carragher is calling it fake and Neville doesn’t even want to commentate, this is a full-blown crisis.

I don’t even want to talk about Manchester City anymore but Lee is spot on here. I’ll let you be the Judge.

Such a perfect embodiment of the phrase “A fish rots from the head down.” The brazen nature of the club’s cheating has infected their supporters, who now revel in that cheating. The thought of watching this for another week, let alone the rest of the season, is utterly repellent.

The Council of Elrond might be the most underrated scene in the entire trilogy, and it's all because of Boromir. Everyone remembers the Black Speech, the darkening sky, Gandalf's voice cracking the room in half. But the real story of that scene is a good man quietly falling apart. The moment Frodo sets the ring down, Boromir is the first to speak. "So it is true." Two seconds, and the ring already has him. But here's what makes it tragic instead of villainous. Boromir never wanted it for himself. Watch his speech about Gondor. His father holding back Mordor for years, his people bleeding so everyone else's lands stay safe, and no one even thanking them for it. He's not greedy. He's desperate. He's a man who has watched his home fight alone for too long, and now someone puts a weapon on the table and tells him he can't use it.

And listen to the music underneath. The second he speaks of Gondor, the horn theme plays quietly beneath him. Even while the ring is corrupting him, the score remembers who he really is. A man of Númenor. A protector. That's why the older you get, the more Boromir hits. As a kid you see the guy who tried to take the ring. As an adult you see the man carrying a weight nobody helped him carry, whose only real flaw was loving his people too much. He fails the test at the Council. But he dies with a horn to his lips defending two hobbits who couldn't defend themselves. The most human character in Middle-earth, start to finish

The smug way in which the 115 cheats have conducted themselves, still insistent they’re innocent blah blah was enough of a piss take.

Then we have pundits saying they feel sorry for their fans. So their fans show up yesterday chanting “we’ll cheat when we want”. Feel sorry for what?

The whole lot is a major piss take of the Premier League and a monumental two fingers at the rest of football. They’re ploughing on thinking they can do whatever they like and fuck everyone else.

The league HAS to act now with unprecedented punishment given the huge scale of their cheating over many years - and the way they’ve deliberately dragged this out because they’ve got an endless supply of cash.

Fuck them, fuck their fans and fuck the league for letting a nation state get control of a football club and use it like a lawless vanity project.

The moment news circulated that Ukraine had hit Russian bot farms, the engagement on some of Reform UK’s biggest X accounts appeared to take a nosedive. Nigel Farage and Zia Yusuf, what a coincidence.

Millions of followers, but where did everyone go? Did the real people suddenly get busy, or is there a bigger story behind those numbers?

Funny how a following can look massive until people start asking who is actually following.

Until Manchester City are sanctioned for their decade-long cheating every one of their goals and every one of their wins this season will be meaningless. The Premier League also remains hugely damaged for as long as this "sham" continues.

[JB™️ @gunnerpunner]

Every single goal City score, and every single time their players celebrate with those smug grins, and every single chant from their fans about it, damages the Premier League’s integrity and brand.

[Annemarie Dray @AnnemarieDray]

Manchester City players and supporters celebrating like they are the victims of some great miscarriage of justice instead of the instigators of one of the greatest scandals in world sport is genuinely nuts.
