its crazy the legal system prices Americans out of justice so the best solution is to find a youtuber crazy enough to make a stink to get your money back
The backrooms being something that takes from existing things, doesn't understand any of it, then feeds itself with the same thing over and over until it all starts to become unstable with that yellow tint? You couldn't make a better analogy for ai if you wanted to 😭
Backroom discourse is filled with vitriol most of the time but there is a clear demarcation that makes one version better in every way in my opinion, and it is to this day my favorite internet urban legend by far.
You all put way too much stock in cross-verse power scaling, no mangaka EVER develops their works with “can my MC beat this other MC?” in mind, and the fact that you all try to treat that like it’s a detriment towards the work as a whole and/or the mangaka themselves is pathetic.
@BluebriarArts A sentiment i like is that he’s the representation of the test, the gate between the strong and the strongest, and while I think he retains goat status just based on the fact that you can’t really hate on the test itself, I also like the joke that he’s adapted to slander by now.
between toby fox and gooseworx not only are indie audiences increasingly more hostile over everything but also there's a pervasive feeling of lolcow culture surrounding them and i feel like it's turning a lot of aspiring indie creators away from creating
@HateFairyland Im so tired of this “he was trying to beat him using only mahoraga” narrative, Sukuna was fully willing to kill Gojo with DE before even involving Mahoraga, he was using every tool that he could to help him win, if he didn’t use it, it was because he knew it wasn’t gonna work.
Ok so why didn’t Sukuna just pop true form against Gojo and body him in h2h during the DE clashes when he could touch him? If that’s the only two things he needed to do to win then he would still have full access to 10S, his DE, and RCT by the time the rest of the cast jumps him.
@HateFairyland Sukuna didn’t use true form against Gojo because he knew it wouldn’t help and decided to save it as a heal, he was getting horribly beat the entire fight, if true form was going to help he would have used it. (1/?)
Why are people freaking out about the TADC leaks? This is all stuff that keen viewers and people who understand how the story was presented from the beginning predicted. From what I’ve seen it’s all good stuff, there’s one bit Im a bit confused on but who knows if it’s even real.
Spiribirds are such a non issue, bird routes are extremely intuitive and easy to follow and only take maybe a minute or two max to complete, even on the biggest maps, plus they tie into my material gathering routes most of the time too, actually saving me time on most hunts.
Spiribirds are extremely cool in concept, but annoying in reality.
I understand why they exist, small maps and monsters always being visible means the game needs something to extend quest time. But overall, I look at them as a flawed yet unique approach to game balance.
@Michi_MochiBear I’m not sure if it’s on purpose or if it’s that reading through half-translated twitter leaks + John Werry’s translations turned a well written story into incomprehensible noise. There’s a reason why every time the anime comes back it fixes people’s understanding of the story.
Also people misunderstand this scene because leakers mistranslated it to say that Sukuna had two DIFFERENT paths to choose from, but it’s obvious that the real translation is the one shown in the post, the woman and Uraumei BOTH represent the love that Sukuna ultimately denied.
sukuna is capable of understanding love, or at the very least recognizing it for what it is. he never came across as emotionally ignorant, but rather as someone who consciously rejects attachment because it threatens the kind of existence he chose for himself.
that is why the reveal of the faceless woman feels so interesting to me. i like the idea that there may have been someone he genuinely admired or even cared for, but instead of allowing himself to explore those feelings, he deliberately suppressed and distanced himself from them.
ignoring attachment can feel easier than confronting what it demands from you. so to me, that woman being memorable enough to still appear symbolically suggests she may have had a far greater impact on him than he would ever willingly admit. who she was is genuinely fascinating to think about.
