Hey @MLBTheShow I think it’s about time we get @Cam31Schlittler a player model that actually looks like him. Seems pertinent for the best pitcher in the AL to look right
@rationalyankee I mean I don’t want to even give anything Kalshi posts even a second thought, but Judge now has enough history to back up the notion that he’s going to have a blistering tear at some point and end up higher on that list
@YankeesFiles But the rhetoric has *always* been that they literally couldn’t afford it. It’s crazy how they’ll move the goalposts and regular people will happily carry water for them
@YankeesFiles Saw someone talking about how in the current system they’re not “incentivized” to spend more because they’ll always be outspent and thus beaten regardless
There are myriad differences between Hughes and Lagrange, but the point is this doesn’t have to halt the latter’s development at all. Also, good relievers aren’t growing on trees so the Yankees ARE going to have to look internally
Brian Cashman and the Yankees have had ongoing discussions on when to move Carlos Lagrange to the bullpen to see what he could do for the big league club in 2026, according to Joel Sherman.

#Yankees
The last time the Yankees won a championship, they pulled a young starter out of the rotation and made him a pivotal piece of the bullpen for that run, and then he went right back into the rotation the next year
