The pattern that works for me
1. Pick ONE markdown-based knowledge base (Obsidian, or even a just folder of .md files)
2. Give your AI assistant read/write access to it
3. At the end of every AI conversation, have it write the key learnings back to the knowledge base as atomic notes
4. Build a simple search index (@tobi 's qmd) over those notes so any future AI conversation can pull relevant context
loop: chat -> extract learnings -> store -> search -> inject into next chat.
Once that loop is running, your knowledge base compounds automatically.
as the agents evolve with tasks and complexity, i'm working on a `reorg` plan among the agents. this is like a life simulation but on steroids for sure 😆😆
@karpathy Another gain is that if you're within Apple Ecosystem (which I assume you are), putting that obsidian vault on iCloud makes viewing md files much more easier on the mobile
truth is that a combo of x premium, youtube premium, an openai or anthropic subscription, plus daily tinkering and consistency, can get you unreasonably far in life right now
@marcrandolph I point my AI setup to be aware of my browser bookmarks, sometimes I just asked for url and provided some vague context and my AI setup was able to spit out the expected url. Saved time instead of retrieving the URL manually.
@arscontexta Nice. I feel like once Apple Vision Pro becomes more affordable, this will be really cool. Reminded me of the scene of Professor X locating stuff through Celebro
There’s so much potential and things to build with Apple Vision Pro now with the rise of OpenClaw and AI toolings.
Let’s just hope entry point prices for the next release of Apple Vision Pros are more affordable than what they are now
Intelligence’s been commoditized
What’s in high demand: taste + curiosity
Curiosity to ask what if and what to build
Taste to remove as much as possible
Prediction: In less than 90 days, all channels that we thought were safe from spam & automation will be so flooded that they will no longer be usable in any functional sense: iMessage, phone calls, Gmail.
And we will have no way to stop it.
Right now the best e-reader is an iPad Mini with Kindle app + Claude.
One Project per book.
Ask questions, explore ideas, have Claude quiz you back, pick it back up weeks later and it still knows where your head’s at.
