Non-negotiable skills (imho) for a data engineer, in no specific order 🧵
1⃣ SQL – It's the universal language of all OLTP and OLAP relational databases.
2⃣ Python (if you know how to work with a compiled language like Scala or Java or Rust, that's a great bonus)

nobody even knew.

Major cheat code for life: Be fully where your feet are. When you're at work, work. When you're with family, be with family. When you're resting, rest. Most people are physically present and mentally everywhere else.
