One of the most inspiring revelations from #OperationSindoor is that a woman fighter pilot of the Indian Air Force was part of the strike package that hit the Muridke headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba, the terror outfit headed by India’s most wanted terrorist Hafiz Saeed.

The woman Flight Lieutenant was flying a Su-30MKI. More than one woman fighter pilot is learnt to have participated in the operation, with women officers flying both the Su-30MKI and Rafale.

In some missions, women officers were the pilots; in others, they served as Weapon System Operators (WSOs).

TMC’s claim is an attempt to manufacture a victory out of thin air.

The election being celebrated was held in January, not after 4 May. And it was not the West Bengal Bar Council election, but an Alipore Court/Bar Association-level election in South 24 Parganas.

Yet TMC is presenting this local result as a statewide political verdict.

After the 4 May verdict, the desperation is evident. The only actual election held after 4 May was in Falta and we all know the result.

A local bar association election cannot be repackaged as a political comeback. Fake propaganda cannot alter ground reality.
