@ArchangeI223@QuiGonJenna Except in Empire, jedi and force awakens we see her tap into the force to sense the presence of others. Only makes sense that the first physical technique we see her use is the exact same one we first see Luke use in telekinesis
@Tal_Shiar_Degen@jtimsuggs This is OP's point. You have idiots getting mad at Rey (because she's a woman) when there's a dude literally being labelled the Chosen One and dwarfing her feats at half her age. Only one of these could really be called a Mary Sue and it sure as hell isn't Rey
@VelzianVangold@Mangalawyer I hate Ubisoft and I can still tell it's definitely a 7/10. I'm having a great time. Butvthen again female game protagonists don't automatically upset me
@realswtheory Well you've just forfeited any right you may have had to criticise Disney Star Wars, because this is 100 times worse than anything they've produced, but honestly it's what I expect from a person who continually proves they fundamentally don't understand Star Wars
@retneysholocron Still give JJ the opening film, because he can at least get the ball rolling with franchises. Then give Johnson the final 2. JJ coming back for the 3rd was the biggest mistake
@snc_aexus Would like to provide an example? All I can see in this video is something resembling the bullshit we got in the prequels instead of any actual sword fighting
@AliensOnEarth_ I'll tell you how this trick is done. Hang a disc (hubcaps, trash can lid etc) from a fine line such as fishing line over another line that is above the camera frame. Spin the disc and start filming to give it that wobble effect. Then suddenly yank the other end of the line. Voila
Barbie is a hilariously fun movie full of great performances that doesn't take itself too seriously. It is simultaneously a stern criticism of and love letter to Barbie that is near perfectly executed without contradiction and gets an 8/10 from me
