I have to be honest with the NFL community: I’m one of the voters who did not vote Bill Belichick into the Hall of Fame.
In my view, Belichick’s post–Tom Brady tenure proved just how much of his success was tied to Brady. Tom went to Tampa Bay and immediately won a Super Bowl without him, while Belichick floundered.
Instead of adapting or rebuilding, Belichick all but checked out of the NFL, opting to pursue a 23-year-old who might as well be a UNC cheerleader. Priorities matter.
Add in the fact that he spent more than half his career under investigation for some form of cheating, yet still managed to lose on the biggest stage to Nick Foles and Eli Manning (twice).
Eight Super Bowls aside, I think Belichick should have to wait another year (or more) before being seriously considered for the Hall of Fame.

This one hurts.
Brian Wilson was a prodigy and true musical genius.
He wrote and produced what I believe is the greatest album ever made, The Beach Boys, "Pet Sounds"--a true masterpiece.
I'm sure it won't be long before he's arranging the angelic choirs of Heaven. 💔
Brian Wilson, the brilliant musician who codified the California teen lifestyle in a series of ’60s hits by his band the Beach Boys, has died. He was 82.
