@henrywinter Yes City have made the changes to make a football ground. done a good job. My point was that overall the and results haven’t been great. So the noise about the stadium gets louder. Let’s hope we get new owners who will buy the ground outright and make the same changes as City.
@henrywinter Who else plays in a track and field stadium Henry? The same team that’s won countless trophy’s in the Manchester Commonwealth games athletics stadium. It’s all about the results. The stadium is a red herring .
@WHUFC_OnThisDay@WestHam@LFC I was there 😂. Think they delayed the start as the ‘football special’ was late getting in to Lime St. Everyone went mad when we scored first then it all went pear shaped 😆😆😆
@BillyBondsStand Got one of the coaches from the ground, on my own but managed to meet up with some mates beforehand. Terrible game as I remember, ended with a Neil Shipperly tap-in I think. Awful.
@kumbdotcom I’m thinking of it but going to give Potter a while season. I still maintain though that if for example we’d been in the top four since the move how many would be leaving? Granted the stadium isn’t great but it’s the level of performances that’s killed it imho
@HLTCO I’ve always maintained the ground is a bit of a red herring. OK, it’s not Upton Park but we wouldn’t be having this conversation if West Ham had been finishing for example in the top 4 since the move. (that’s just an example btw!). So it’s down to performances and League pos imho
