@Creality3dP The software looks pretty easy to use.
Resin printing is tough with many variables. I think that most of the failures are due to improper placement/rotation on the build plate with the proper supports, making it difficult to determine root cause of failure.
@Creality3dP Are there any consumable items that are difficult to acquire? Such as thermistors or hot ends. Are they backwards compatible. More specifically, if I was to buy a K3, what spare parts would I need to have on hand to prevent substantial downtime?

I’ve finally found what Tesla uses for the Cybercab’s RIM body panels 😉
The technology is KraussMaffei's ColorForm modified for Tesla's requirements and size/scale
The machine in the video is tiny, but for the Cybercab body panels Tesla must require machines of at least 4,500 tons of clamping force

Context: Tesla makes Cybercab exterior panels with Reaction Injection Molding (RIM): two liquid polyurethane precursors mix and cure in a closed mold at low pressure
Color is mixed into the polymer, so the gold finish is built through the part rather than sprayed on. That lets Tesla skip a paint shop, cut cycle time from hours to minutes, and drop emissions on those parts.

When I found the link, I contacted Randy Bible of the (Montpelier) Trackside Museum, and he had no idea of the project being online. So, I offered to print one for the museum. I found Wabash RR Historical Society docs detailing original colors.
Convenience is one of those words I stopped trusting somewhere along the way, right around the time every object in my house started asking who I was.
I bought the fucking thing. That used to settle it.
You bought a television, brought it home, plugged it in and watched television. Nobody asked for an email address. Nobody wanted to “personalize your experience.” The television did not need to know whether you were divorced.
Now the TV wants an account, the car wants a profile and the thermostat wants my location.
Why? You’re on the wall.
That’s your location.
And every company says the same thing: “For your convenience.” That phrase has the same energy as a nurse saying, “You may feel some pressure.”
That shit always hurts.
“For your convenience, we’ve changed the way you sign in.” Well then it isn’t for my convenience, is it? I already knew how to sign in. You broke a door and handed me a pamphlet about the new entrance.
That’s what they’re good at now. Not making things better. Naming things better.
They don’t raise your price. They “adjust” it. They don’t take something away. They “streamline.” Then I get to spend forty minutes explaining my problem to a chatbot that keeps telling me it understands how frustrating this must be.
No… you fucking don’t.
You’re punctuation guarding a bank account.
At some point English stopped describing what companies do and started wiping fingerprints off the knife.
Try canceling something.
It begins as a financial decision and ends with you wondering whether you’ve committed some kind of moral offense.
I tried to cancel a service recently and by the end of it I had changed my password twice, confirmed my identity three times and answered a survey asking why I wanted to leave.
Why do I want to leave?
Because I’m forty minutes older than I was when I started and I now hate your entire corporate bloodline.
They’re not trying to convince you to stay. Convincing people takes talent. They’re trying to make leaving so irritating that eventually your shoulders drop and you go, “Ah, fuck it.”
That phrase is probably worth billions.
“Ah, fuck it” is the sound of somebody deciding six dollars is cheaper than twenty more minutes of his own life.
They’re pricing your resistance.
I noticed it trying to park the other day. The parking app wanted my phone number, email address, location and access to my contacts.
Contacts? I’m parking a car.
Who are you planning to notify?
My dentist?
“Just so you know, MoundLore has been in Zone 4B for twenty-seven minutes. Heart rate elevated. He has reopened the payment screen three times and appears too tired to object. We believe compliance is imminent.”
And I hit Allow. Of course I did.
I needed to park.
So you stop asking, “Why the fuck do they need this?” You start asking, “How fast can I make this screen go away?”
Five-dollar fee shows up at the end of a transaction and you know it’s bullshit. But you’ve already picked the seat, entered the card, found the parking spot, got somebody waiting in the car, and now there’s a little button that says “Continue.”
So you pay it.
Nobody needs to threaten you. Nobody needs a club. That’s primitive. You just make “no” take longer than “yes.”
That’s enough.
Continue is a hell of a word.
You could put almost anything above that button.
“By continuing, you agree that we may track your location, sell your habits, record your voice and send a regional manager named Craig to sit quietly in your bedroom and take notes while you sleep.”
Continue… fuck it.

SpaceX is basically becoming the traffic controller of low Earth orbit
Every Starlink satellite has autonomous collision avoidance onboard
If collision probability rises above just 1 in 100,000, the satellite begins planning an avoidance maneuver
That is 10× more conservative than the 1-in-10,000 industry threshold SpaceX cites
But the impressive part goes beyond Starlink itself
SpaceX continuously shares precise orbital data and planned trajectories with the U.S. Space Force, LeoLabs and other satellite operators so everyone can screen for potential conjunctions and coordinate maneuvers
Starlink satellites can then calculate safer trajectories and autonomously move when needed

I’ve been considered an old soul and have always kept it real, but what I am about to do scares me.
See, my Opa started this company in 1977 and he always wanted to break $1M in revenue. To celebrate him and the 50th anniversary of Center Tool Company I’m going to do it.
I will double our revenue AND do it publicly. We are on target for $500k in ’26 (pretty much been 500-800k since 1977, very unspectacular)
In ’27 we will break a MIL.
In the grand scheme of things that's pretty small, but it could be entertaining to ride along on the journey.

In 1869, a group of Ohio citizens decided they were finally going to find out what was inside the enormous prehistoric mound overlooking the Great Miami River at Miamisburg.
They started from the top and sank a vertical shaft essentially the entire way through it, eventually reaching below the original ground surface. Two horizontal tunnels were cut outward from the shaft.
Eight feet down they encountered a human burial: a skeleton placed sitting upright, reportedly covered with bark and clay.
Then the mound kept going.
At roughly 24 feet they hit a carefully arranged layer of flat stones. Farther down was another feature surrounded by decayed logs. Between them were layers of earth, ash, charcoal and stone… the remains of separate construction episodes accumulated as the monument grew.
And this wasn’t some little pile of dirt.
Miamisburg Mound is still about 65 feet high, roughly 300 feet across and contains around 54,000 cubic yards of earth. It stands on a ridge another 100 feet above the Great Miami River valley. Ohio History Connection considers it one of the two largest conical mounds in eastern North America.
The 1869 excavation actually lowered the summit by several feet. And after driving a shaft through almost the entire monument, they still had examined only a tiny fraction of it.
Miamisburg Mound has never been systematically excavated.
Which means one of the largest surviving Indigenous earthworks in America still contains almost its entire archaeological record exactly where its builders left it.
