@Kotyjo I think the large farm is going to get some funding from the government , the delays in shutting it down and the excuses they used to carry on, indicate there are some heavy hitters in deep on that clusterphuck. Anyone else and the place would be empty.
@Kotyjo So the 5 billion to Europe instead of USA , who infills that loss. Without doing infrastructure nothing is going to increase export wise overseas.
@JohnBarlowMP Can you explain how higher fuel &fertilizer prices to prairie farmers get passed on to the consumer from the average farmer? We are price takers and absorb those costs of input and tariff costs with nothing from government like the auto & steel sectors receive.
@Mullin_95 It used to be the worst cut of a cow. Now they charge big ,$$$$ for brisket to be sautéed for hours while people drank enough to be hungry. At that point anything tasted good.
@Kotyjo Could put a greenhouse close to any power generation using coal or natgas. Use the waste heat for greenhouse. Makes those power plants more " environmentally friendly".
@GrainStats Its not just the wasted money. Its the people that say they represent farmers. Thats why farmers have poor BRMs and no voice. They use their representation voice for self interests or pursue political careers .
@SKnana@Kotyjo Plants sometime don't need a frost. It's the temperature difference from +26 to +2 can hurt plants as well. How is it when you take an ice bath on a July + 30 day?
@QuickDickMcDick It's quite the sight to see when the spillway is open at Gardiner dam. It makes you wonder where Saskatchewan would be without it. In todays politics , it wouldn't be built.
@Mellyfax@CPC_HQ Ask yourself this - with all the trade deals Carney has done around the world to avoid the US market - who us going to infill that lucrative market? The very countries Carney is moving our trade to. All at Canada's expense.
